Hi there! I’m Jeffrey: a first-generation Taiwanese American living in New York City who loves to cook, eat, and share. Much of what I make is rooted in the flavors and recipes of Taiwan. But I’ve also been heavily influence by such culinary queens as Ina Garten, Carla Hall, and Kendall Jenner cutting a cucumber.

I have been cooking since before I could reach the countertop (come through, stepstool sponsorship). Aside from spending two years in college as a restaurant line cook, I have no real training – just a love of exploration and experimentation.

This blog began as a way to document the recipes and stories that shaped my experience as a Taiwanese American growing up in Maryland. But I’m also hoping to share the diverse flavors of East Asian cuisine in a way that is easy and accesible for everyone.
